This is a demonstration of how to read-aloud text, and generate an audio file using the Brave web browser (on Android, but should be similar on other platforms when using the app). For these examples, we'll be using the extracted text of Seneca's "On The Shortness of Life":

  • Brave Browser - Ad-blocking, privacy focused browser with built-in 'read mode'

  • Supertonic TTS - Used to replace Google's default Android TTS

  • Vox Sherpa TTS - Used for the more advanced voice file generation
