CENTRAL GOVERNMENT

entral Government is typified by Babylon. Babylonian type World Empires, based upon the concept of Central Government, are liberally strewn throughout the records of world history. Today, the epitome of Central Government is usually thought to be the Communist government of the Soviet Union. But, in all fairness, evidence shows clearly that the Soviet Union's government is NOT unlike other centralized governments in the world. The truth is, Marxism is merely a typical Central Government. And Marxism, like all centralized governments, is bad!

Looking at Central Government, certain recognizable traits stand out. Central Government always develops into a self-willed, self-protecting entity interested only in its own survival. Central Government is never a servant, but rather a master. It is its own master, with its own personality. It rules! It never serves! It uses every means at its disposal (including police and military force) to protect itself against the public. The people, collectively, are considered its greatest re-

source, and at the same time its greatest threat. Therefore, Police are employed in great numbers to enforce the Central Government's will upon the people, and to protect it from possible public interference. It is a continuing struggle to keep the people suppressed.

Central Government is of the nature that it must maintain its own existence in hostile surroundings. It must conquer, or be conquered! It is perpetually at

war with the public. However, politicians don't call it "war." They call it "Political Science" (the art of conquering and controlling the masses). There-

fore, Central Government's position of unchallengeable power must be maintained. Otherwise, the people might get out of hand.

Debt, threat, brutality, and brain-washing are tools used by Central Government to keep the people subjugated. These tools are usually administered through a central bank, a central taxing agency, a central welfare system (socialism), a centrally controlled police system and a government-controlled education system (public schools). In lands under Soviet control, these methods are used by Central Government to keep the people subjugated. It is typical Soviet politics. It is also typical American politics!

The following is a summary of the principles which make up the nature of Central Government. As you read the list, ask yourself whether these descriptions could possibly apply to American Government as well as Soviet Government.

Traits of Central Government:

• -Demands supreme jurisdiction
• -Develops into a self-willed entity
• -Has its own personality
• -Must protect itself in order to survive
• -Is never a servant, but rather a master
• -Is perpetually at war with the public
• -Uses police to enforce its will
• -Uses debt, threat, brutality and brainwashing against the people
• Uses central bank, central taxing agency, central welfare system, centrally controlled police system and government licensed education system to keep the people subjugated

Now, ask yourself, "For what purpose does American Government exist today?" Is American Central Government devoted to the well-being of its citizens, or is it only concerned with its own preservation? Is American Central Government a servant, or a ruler (a producer, or a user)? Is American Central Government unchallengeable? (consider the "Union" Government's

centralization, itself, is the hallmark of the world "beast system."

Principles of Marxist Government

Oddly enough, American Central Government adopted Marxist principles long before the Soviet Union came on the scene! Before Lenin — before the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 — America already had:

• -An unchallengeable Central Government.
• A central taxing agency.
• -A central bank.
• A controlled education system
• A growing system of centrally-controlled police forces

Most Americans are still blind to the fact that America has been a model of Marxism. The truth is, Americans have been so ignorant of the Word of God, and of the

vates an idiomatic enmity for "Communism," so-called, the nations of the West are themselves ravaged by central governments of their own whose purposes in ruling the masses are no less evil and cruel than the worst in the Soviet block. But the charade continues, and Western tyranny is somehow thought of as nicer than Eastern tyranny. However, tyranny is tyranny any way you slice it.

People have been programmed to think that the world is divided into two camps: "Communist" and "Capitalist." This false dichotomy is similar to another common misgiving — namely, that "Communism" and "Democracy" are opposed to each other. The fact is Communism works hand-in-glove with Capitalism and Democracy around the world. Communism, Capitalism and Democracy all harmonize like a well-tuned orchestra. The factors which separate "democratic" countries from "communistic" countries are more imagined than real. Again, Central Government is the common denominator.

The efforts of Karl Marx gave great impetus to "Central Government" in many countries. In the Communist Manifesto, Marx listed the ten steps to forming a Communist state. As the following list shows, "Communism" and "Central Government" (Collectivism) are practically synonymous. Notice how closely Marxism corresponds to American Government today.

COMMUNIST MANIFESTO

• 1. "Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes." (This "rent" is called "property tax" in America, and the abolition of property ownership is obvious. The state rents the land to the citizens. The power of Emminent Domain also establishes State ownership of all property.)
• 2. "A heavy progressive or graduated income tax." (An accepted American institution.)
• 3. "Abolition of all right of inheritance." (Unpayable public and private debt, usury, income taxes, property taxes, inheritance taxes and government confiscation of property have left Americans with nothing to inherit.)
• 4. "Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels." (Through constant legal harassment, the government prosecutors sponsored by public monies can cause anyone who is targeted for destruction to lose their property and wealth by forcing them to spend millions of dollars in unending court battles and legal fees, or just put them in jail and/or ruin their reputation until they are out of business and broke.)
• 5. "Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly." (Federal reserve System.)
• 6. "Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the

• state." (Federal Communication Commission, and Department of Transportation. Government subsidy and control of railroads, airlines, bus companies.)

• 7. "Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state." (Government-owned factories, utilities, industries and cheap (or free) prison labor competing against private industry.)
• 8. "Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture." (Under Franklin Roosevelt, several government labor programs were instituted. The Department of Agriculture pays farmers to not raise crops, and the small private farms are being phased out in favor of large, government-controlled, corporate farms.)

• "Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries." (Corporate farms and regional planning.)

• 10. "Free education for all children in public schools." (Government control of education; compulsory attendance.)

It doesn't take a genius to see the similarities between Marxism and the US Government. But then, Central Governments are the seedbeds of Marxism.

Central Governments follow predictable patterns whether in the USSR or in America; whether they call themselves "Communism" or "Democracy." It is still Central Government (Collectivism).

Cruelty of Central Government

Central Government can be cruel in its efforts to control the people. For instance, during Joseph Stalin's tenure as the head of the Soviet Union's Central Government, during the 1930's, 40's and 50's, he instituted several "purges" to get rid of, or control, "the rebels." Historians estimate that over 50 million Soviet citizens died from starvation, executions and disease as a result of these purges. Millions more suffered imprisonment, degradation, loss of all property and hope.

Most of those who suffered under Stalin's purges were simple country folks: farmers. They were common citizens who just didn't want to be "Collectivized" by Central Government. What these simple peasants didn't know was that if Central Government allowed them to refuse to be Collectivized, it would have shown weakness in Stalin's government and set a precedent for other dissidents to follow. It would have

broken the iron fist of the Central Government. Thus, Stalin did what was necessary to make the government unchallengeable. He set to work a plan that would, in a decade, kill off over 50 million men, women and children

in the lands under his control. Soviet citizens would never dare stand up against government again. Thus, the "Union" was saved! (the Soviet Union, that is).

For example, in 1928-33, several million Ukrainians starved to death as a result of one of Stalin's purges where he deliberately induced famine upon them. Stalin launched his socialist offensive, or "revolution from above," and embarked on a program of rapid industrialization that was to be paid for by "surpluses" squeezed from the peasants. For this purpose, and in order to subdue the peasants once and for all, Stalin's Central Government decided to destroy individual farming and the rural economy. What began in 1928 with the simple seizure of grain soon turned into a murderous onslaught on the kulaks — the better-off and most efficient element of the peasantry. By the end of the decade, grain procurement and "dekulakization" had become part of an all-out campaign to drive the peasants onto state-owned farms.

With the peasants resisting as best they could, the Collectivization drive became a veritable war waged by a doctrinaire regime against an unarmed rural population. The military and secret police were used to quell

In the fertile Ukraine, resistance had been especially strong. Here, as hunger turned into famine, local party officials began to protest to Moscow about its policies. It was at this point that Stalin decided to defuse the threat by striking a devastating blow.

While Moscow continued exporting grain, Ukrainian villagers were reduced to starvation. The Russo-Ukrainian border was blockaded in order to prevent food from entering the Ukraine and the starving peasants from fleeing to find food. Millions were systematically murdered for the sake of securing "the Union" and its Central Government.

In the countries under USSR's Central Government control, scores of concentration camps were constructed for holding and suppressing dissidents. The Ukraine famine was only one of many examples of the cruelty of Central Government. People in "the Christian West", today, are repulsed at the thought of such governmental tactics upon a citizenry. However, Americans are generally blind to the fact that similar purges have happened here in the West too. Many patriotic Americans who abhor Soviet tactics upon its own citizenry will passively accept, without question, similar tactics (under different names) from our own government. Instead of calling it "Collectivization" it is called "Incorporation." Instead of calling it "Communism" it is called "Democracy."

Perhaps the greatest example of the Soviet style purges that have happened in America happened in the 1860's. It is popularly called "The Civil War." It was actually a Stalin style purge for the purpose of strengthening and protecting Central Government. In

The point is this: Central Government, regardless of whether it is called "Communism," "Democracy," or any other name, always works against the best interests of the people. Central Government, whether it be administered through a Politburo, a Congress, a Parliament, or a human Monarch, cannot allow the people to be free for that, in itself, would destroy its central power.

Central Government is represented in the Bible as monarchies. Israel was warned against human monarchies (central governments) in the book of I Samuel, chapter eight. In essence, Israel demanded a king like the other nations around them and God told them that a king would plunder the people and the land and put their children into slavery. Israel demanded a king nonetheless. They got their king (Central Government), and sure enough, their king turned them into paupers and slaves in their own land. The same thing has now happened in America. The people demanded

But let's not misplace the blame. The

Since wanting (lusting after) a Central Government to relieve us of all our responsibilities is what got us into slavery, the only thing that can get us back out of slavery is for us to change our mind set, stop asking government to take care of us, and start thinking like Freemen instead of crypto-Marxists. It will take some time to change the attitude of America, but it can be done if a new breed of preachers will preach the Kingdom of Christ and FREEDOM!

THE TOWER OF BABEL

And they said, 'Come let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name.' (Genesis 11:4)

It is important to realize that there was a diversity of governments which involved themselves in "the project": family units, distinct governing regions, and actual nations (a total of seventy). The purpose of the symbolic tower was an attempt to unify all mankind under one central governmental system.

Power and authority would be centralized, along with corruption and tyranny. This form of government would necessitate a central planning system that would obstruct the freedoms of individuals for the supposed benefit of the masses.

The purpose of "the modern U.S. project" has been the same as its Babylonian prototype. It has centralized national government under one supreme power center. The Creation (Federal Government) is superior to its supposed Creator (the States) — an impossible scenario. Thus, the American branch of "That Great City" is also "a mystery." (Rev. 17:5)
